After the guards checked if I have heavy artilleries/weapons of mass destruction in my bag – I didn’t let him touch my waist, syempre! – I head to the library to scan my “notes”. The beep of the scanner connotes that I am a bona fide XU student, searching for knowledge. Joke!
In the entrance of the 2nd floor (really dunno the section-name), I stood tall and walk using the “gorgeous walking style” my sisters taught me.
Being in the library is not that simple, it requires a good vision and keen observation. For real guys, here’s the pattern: First, scan for beautiful faces amid the boundaries/blocks that interferes your vision. Second, scan for the most strategic position favorable for you to see that gorgeous face. And third, scan your notes and try to look on the beautiful lady every time you memorize something. Note that if the first step and second step is negative; try to proceed to the next floor. Impossible nga wala! (Jessy and Ony, please don’t deny this!)
I used the pattern and I found myself looking – with no distractions--at the beauties in the Library. She actually looked like Jessica Alba in the making. Well, that was on the right side. On the left side, I named her Kristin Kreuk. Both of them furrowed their brow while reading huge books – a sign of seriousness, intellect, and deep analysis of something. For me, they deserved to be crowned! Beauty and Brains – fits my preference.
Scanning my notes (RS20.Hahahaha), I also furrowed my brow syempre! After 20 mins., I looked at them again and feel sorry. J.Alba fell asleep – I hope she’s dreaming about answers – and K.Kreuk is on her headset, the books are gone and she’s preparing for sleep. The ultimate turn-off! I hope next time they’ll bring blankets in the lib.
Anyways, who am I to judge them. The library is indeed a quiet place for students committed to STUDY and SLEEP? Hehehehe. As what I’ve observed (it’s also my technique), opening of notes and playing Mp3’s is a discreet introduction for a good, quiet, air-conditioned, “educational” sleep!
After a while, I also fell asleep and when I opened my eyes; I looked outside the window and found “The Bee’s”.
To Alba and Kreuk, they managed to reach my short-term memory. Hehehehe..Rots! Carrots!
